The Gospel of John Reading Plan
The Gospel of John: A Journey of Knowing and Following Jesus
Beginning March 2 and continuing until Easter Sunday, we invite you to embark on a transformative journey through the Gospel of John using the SOAP Bible study method. This journey is more than just reading Scripture—it’s about encountering Jesus in a way that changes everything.
Our series is titled "If You Know You Know...and Follow." This phrase reflects a profound truth found throughout John’s Gospel: when someone truly encounters Jesus, they are brought into the light of understanding. Once you see Jesus for who He is, you can’t unsee Him. Once you come to know Him, you can’t unknow Him. And most importantly, this knowledge is life-changing—you can’t NOT follow Jesus once you have truly met Him.
John’s Gospel is a deeply theological and personal account of Jesus’ life, ministry, and mission. It is written to reveal His identity as the Word made flesh, the Lamb of God, the Light of the World, the Good Shepherd, and ultimately, the Risen Savior. Through powerful encounters with individuals—whether a seeking Pharisee, a thirsty Samaritan woman, or a grieving sister—John shows us that knowing Jesus leads to transformation.
Each week, we will explore a key theme from John’s Gospel, culminating in Jesus’ suffering, death, and ultimate victory in His resurrection. As we SOAP through the passages—Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer—our goal is not just to gain knowledge but to learn, live, and share the Gospel in our daily lives.
May this study deepen our faith, awaken our hearts, and lead us to follow Jesus with greater devotion.

We were singing The lamb of God on March 2nd Sunday during our EC service. The lamb of God which means Jesus Christ was powerful message for us. His sacrifice and unconditional love made us righteousness even though we are not righteousness. Thanks reminding that through this reading plan. Great Job !
