Pastor Randy Eliason

Lead Pastor

Randy is the Lead Pastor of Calvary Church. Born and raised in Queens, NY, Randy has always loved city life. After he graduated from Valley Forge Christian College (now Valley Forge University) in 1987, Randy immediately jumped into full-time ministry. He has served as a youth pastor, assistant pastor, executive pastor and lead pastor in several New York churches. He’s also been called upon by the New York Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God for various leadership roles, including serving as a presbyter for eight years.

Randy and his wife Christine (a Pennsylvania native!) met while they were students at Valley Forge. You’ll frequently hear Randy saying that Christine, and their sons Peter and Evan, are the greatest blessings God has ever given him.
Randy’s most recent blessing is the gift God has given him to serve Calvary Church. With all of his heart he longs to see our church embody the Gospel to the entire Philadelphia Metropolitan area, and even to the world.
He believes that all of life should be lived out of overwhelming gratitude for the grace of God provided for us through the cross of Christ.
He believes the church must be guided by God’s Word and empowered by God’s Spirit.
He believes that the church must build bridges and remove barriers in order to connect people to Christ and His church.
He believes that everyone has a gift and a place in God’s family.
He believes that we are most effective when we work in partnerships with other churches and ministries in our community and around the world.

Pastor Alex Kranjec

Worship & Creative Arts Pastor

Pastor Alex grew up in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. Alex has been leading worship since he was 14 years old, where soon after coming to know Jesus he was given a guitar and a chance to join the youth worship band. Having been involved with music from a young age, Alex developed a passion for worship and a desire to minister to others.

Alex attended University of Valley Forge for pastoral ministry where he met his wife, Jaclyn. Alex and Jaclyn were involved in regional worship ministry in the years following, as well as part of a church planting team in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

Alex and Jaclyn married June 2, 2007 and six weeks later moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where God had called them to devote a season of their lives to focused worship, prayer, and training at the International House of Prayer. At IHOP-KC Alex had the opportunity to serve on staff as a Senior Sound Producer and Music Technology Instructor working with worship leaders Matt Gilman, Cory Asbury, Misty Edwards, Justin Rizzo, and others. This season of training strengthened his passion for worship, media, and devotion to Jesus.

After a season in Kansas City, Alex returned to the University of Valley Forge to complete his studies in Digital Media, where he received training in audio, video, graphic design, church media, and Bible. Since being back in the Philadelphia area he has worked with Calvary Church as Media Director; strengthening the use of media, developing an online video archive, and spearheading various media and branding efforts. In August of 2012 Alex jumped on board full-time here at Calvary Church as Worship and Creative Arts Pastor.

Alex is an ordained minister and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity degree at Regent University. Whether it be through music, pastoral ministry, or media and the arts, Alex has a passion to communicate Jesus, and see others come into deeper relationship with Him!

Pastor Dana McCrewell

Missional Pastor

Dana has been a member of Calvary Church for eight years and a Board member for five years. Before coming to Calvary Church he served in ministry in inner city Philadelphia with a focus on outreach, community and leadership development, and changing lives through the gospel of Jesus Christ. His heart’s desire is to see people come to know the forgiveness, grace and love of Christ so they can go on to live their lives sharing the Good News. For Pastor Dana, missional ministry means being on a mission with Christ, sharing the Good News of Christ with E.Y.E.S. for the lost: E for Empowered by the Holy Spirit. Y for Yielded to Go. E for Engaging Others Wherever We Are, and S for Sharing the Love of Christ.
