One of our core values here at Calvary Church is that we’d be missionally motivated. We are called and motivated by the mission Jesus gave us to seek and save the lost. Our goal is to develop and implement efective evangelism strategies to all cultures in order to introduce Jesus to them.   We take the words of Jesus seriously when He said in Mark 16:15 “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.”  Our goal is that all may know Him.

“…let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”— Matthew 5:16

The Calvary Church Community Service Initiative exists to provide needed services to our surrounding communities as an expression of God’s love and our love for individuals and families.

To be an influence for God in our community and to influence attitudes toward the church by our good deeds.

Our events are designed to serve our community by meeting a need, providing a needed service, or partnering with a community agency in a designated project. Our team strategizes, plans events, evaluates, and develops vision for community service. The input, ideas, gifts, and abilities of each team member are essential to accomplish our vision.

Calvary Church offers a wide variety of mission activities for participation.

Each year Mission Trips are offered to foreign countries and home projects. We have done several building trips to Lithuania, helping to finish a Teen challenge facility and a camp for use by children through adults. We have taken trips to Africa and Belize and stateside sites in Mississippi, New Orleans, New York City and Baltimore. These involve adults and teens and can include a variety of building projects as well as ministry focus.
